The Everlane Chelsea Boot slips on and off easily, and they didn’t require a long break-in period. In fact, I wore them to day-long outings the first weekend I got them, and they already felt molded to my foot, as if I’d been wearing them for months. I like that the rubber sole is durable and good for all types of weather now that winter is approaching, while the leather upper material is extremely soft and smooth. My feet never felt tired or achy, even when standing and walking in them, and they coordinate well with straight-leg jeans and my fall midi dresses.

The shoulders aren’t too broad, the waist isn’t too boxy, and the sleeves aren’t too long, but there’s enough room to layer this over a sweater on colder days. The wool is surprisingly soft and super cozy without feeling scratchy at all. I also love the slight herringbone pattern that isn’t too in-your-face but subtle enough for added interest.
