New York-based luxury brand Frances Valentine launched its latest store Monday at Waterside Shops in Naples.
An American lifestyle fashion and accessories brand known for its unique retail interior design, the store sells women’s apparel, handbags and footwear set against eye-catching artwork, vintage Moroccan rugs and mid-century furnishings. Francis Valentine showcases its classic-style apparel and accessories locally in the former 1,100-square-foot storefront of Orlebar Brown swimwear.
The new retail offering in Naples is only the eighth store for the women’s lifestyle brand and its fourth location to open within the last year. With a substantial presence in Florida, the Frances Valentine company reports receiving numerous inquiries from customers about opening a store in Naples.
“We are thrilled to finally be opening a Frances Valentine location at the Waterside Shops in Naples. A city known for its exceptional culture, style and fantastic retail boutiques, aligns perfectly with our brand,” said Frances Valentine CEO Elyce Arons, who co-founded the brand in 2016 with the late Kate Spade, her best friend. “The fact that customers have been actively requesting our presence in Naples, specifically in the Waterside Shops, speaks volumes. We know we have a community of customers eagerly awaiting our arrival.”
Frances Valentine launched its first Florida retail location on the iconic Worth Avenue in Palm Beach in November 2019. Despite Palm Beach being primarily a resort destination, the Palm Beach store is one of the top-performing stores in Frances Valentine’s retail portfolio. The company hopes to replicate that success with its second Florida store at Naples’ upscale open-air mall.
“Frances Valentine’s bright, fun collection easily resonates with the Florida lifestyle and visitors on vacation,” said Lydia Brosnahan, community marketing manager at Frances Valentine. “The Naples and Palm Beach markets share many similarities with having both year-round residents, winter residents and visitors from near and far.”
Frances Valentine’s clothes and accessories are designed with bold prints and colors to transcend trends for a lasting impact. “We believe personal style is a mood-boosting, conversation-sparking, confidence-building celebration of a life well-lived,” the company reports in a news release.
The new Frances Valentine store, 5455 Tamiami Trail N., Unit B9, is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
