One thing about Kim Kardashian? When there’s an opportunity to dress up, she’s not missing it! Which is why, when we realised her 43rd birthday was coming up this weekend, we knew we had to keep our eyes peeled for what this Libra queen was going to wear.
After all, this is the woman who has rocked the *tiniest* of tiny crystal bras (by none other than Gucci) for a night-time IG photo shoot, rocked a hot pink Chanel bikini and matching quilted bag to pose on a tennis court and even appeared to shave all her hair into a buzzcut for a magazine cover shoot. Serving is intrinsic to her style DNA!
Accordingly, Kim’s birthday look was suitably jaw-dropping when the reality tv queen and SKIMS founder headed to the Bel Air restaurant of Funke for a party with her nearest and dearest, which included sisters Kylie Jenner (who rocked a fire motocross-inspired look), Kylie Jenner and Khloé Kardashian, mother Kris Jenner, and friends like Hailey Bieber and Sofia Vergara.
The look Kim stepped out in appeared to be inspired by her love of tiny string bikinis – not least because the outfit was more cutout than fabric! Specifically, she wore a red, slinky full-length dress in satin, which featured ruched detailing and a plunging neckline as well as cutouts at the bust, ribs, hips, and multiple cutouts along the seams of the dress, with each cutout accentuated by tie detailing (similar to on string bikinis).
She finished the fit off with dark, wraparound shades, wet-look black waves in her hair, and orange, strappy stiletto sandals.
Yep, a truly outstanding look – but we’d expect nothing less from this fashion idol!
