The co-chairs for this event are Razorback Men’s Basketball Coach, Eric Musselman and his wife Danyelle. Danyelle told 40/29 News that she has made it her mission to support the American Cancer Society and to promote events to benefit cancer patients in Northwest Arkansas for the last several years. This year, the event will raise money for breast cancer research, access to care and early detection screenings. Guests will witness the fusion of fashion and sport in the Courtside Couture fashion show, featuring gowns and formals from Violet’s Bridal and Formal. The models for the fashion show are survivors and have been diagnosed with breast cancer. The owner of Violet’s told 40/29 News that her family has been connected to breast cancer since her cousin died from Stage IV Breast Cancer at a young age. She says that her hope is to help these women feel and look beautiful for such a special night!
