Get in Buckeyes, we’re going shopping.

Ohio State will host the Buckeye Fall Fashion Market — a first-of-its-kind, one-stop shopping experience for all things Ohio State — Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m., at the Ohio Stadium’s Huntington Club. The event is free for all students with an active BuckID and will feature womenswear collections from 20 brands, Anna Vonderhaar, director of marketing and loyalty programming, said.

Vonderhaar said the event’s main goal is ensuring fans’ fashion needs are met.

“We’ve heard from our fan base that there is a want for more assortment in womenswear,” Vonderhaar said. “We are listening to our fans and showing up in a way that is impactful, and I think this event does that.”

While the event has a focus on womenswear, Vonderhaar said there will be ample menswear options, along with garments geared toward alumni and parent shoppers. Some of the event’s featured brands include Lululemon, Vera Bradley and Champion, she said.

“We have a wide variety of options, everything from athletic wear to lifestyle,” Vonderhaar said. “It definitely covers all areas of what fans are looking for.”

Vonderhaar said the event will include giveaways, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, drinks available for purchase and a first look at some of the participating brands’ upcoming collections.

“Some of our brands will be bringing a preview of their spring ’24 lines, which will be the first time anyone sees them,” Vonderhaar said.

Vonderhaar said the event has three presenting sponsors — The Wild Collective, Colosseum and Wrangler — all of which have played a critical role in putting the event together.

“We really wanted to highlight these three brands because they have unique assortments that people might not be as familiar with,” Vonderhaar said.

Though The Wild Collective is based in Las Vegas, the brand was excited to partner with Ohio State because of its passionate fan culture, CEO and designer Whitney Bansin said.

“[Ohio State] is the No. 1 selling college, so it was a no-brainer for us to partner with such a historic brand,” Bansin said. “They are a great collaborator and really allow us to lean into our designs and create new and exciting products.”

Bansin said The Wild Collective will showcase its current collection of Ohio State gear, featuring vintage bombers, leather jackets, glittery hats and a variety of other menswear and womenswear options.

Vonderharr said the standout feature of this event is the opportunity it provides fans to shop all of their favorite brands in one place.

“Some of these brands are familiar to a lot of people, but a lot of them also aren’t,” Vonderhaar said. “What’s special is that they will all be here, in one place, together.”

While the Buckeye Fall Fashion Market is not exclusive to Ohio State students, admission is priced at $10 for those without an active BuckID. More information about the event can be found on The Team Shop’s website.
