At the beginning of October, the Princess of Wales, 41, took a break from her regular blazer and blouse combo, opting for a gray sleeveless sweater instead. The timeless piece, which screamed fall, a theme we’ve really not yet seen with many of her recent outfits, had ribbing all over, mini slits on the sides, and a toasty mock-neck at the top. 

And whether it was for more warmth or to follow royal fashion rules, she added a white button-up shirt underneath to cover up her shoulders (okay, so she did have sleeves, after all). She coordinated the look with a pair of gray pleated slacks and a pair of plaid block heels with gray tassels for the outing.
